Cotton Warehouses - Children's Town

There is a place for the little ones inside the Magazzini del Cotone building (the former cotton warehouses) in the very heart of the Old Harbour area: a place where grown-ups are not allowed in alone. La Città dei Bambini (The Children’s City) is the largest play-area in Italy for children between 2 and 14. Children learn through playing, in a place where science and technology become entertainment and fun. La Città dei Bambini is divided into three parts, according to age, and there are as many as 96 playing stations where things can be tried and touched. Moreover, there are 9 so-called theme islands where children can explore physics, biology, communication and experience the world surrounding us. Children are encouraged to touch, try and make mistakes freely as they go along. They should enter with an adult as a visit to La Città dei Bambini is the chance for adults and children to share the joys of discovering and mastering new skills.
