Description

Villa Croce Museum – housed inside a 19th century Neo-classical-style villa set in its own grounds - was opened in February 1985 and hosts a year-round programme of exhibitions focusing on contemporary artistic research.
Alongside exhibitions, the museum is home to permanent collections including as many as 4,000 pieces of mostly aniconic art dating from the 1930s to the present, of which the Cernuschi Ghiringhelli Collection encompassing, among others, works by Fontana, Licini, Manzoni and Reggiani is the core. Villa Croce also hosts a specialised library of almost 30,000 volumes.
