Description
This boat tour of the Portofino coast shows you the Italian Riviera the way it is best seen, from the water. The boat leaves from Rapallo and follows the shore for about three hours with a local skipper at the helm, who knows the coastline well.
You pass Portofino, Paraggi and San Fruttuoso, and see the Christ of the Abyss from the sea, with Portofino Natural Park around you. Along the way the skipper shares trivia, suggests the best viewpoints and tells a little of the history of the Riviera. When the sea and weather allow, the boat stops in a bay so you can swim or snorkel in the clear water, and some of the coves can only be reached by boat.
The outing is meant for a small group and suits couples, friends and anyone who wants a short taste of the Ligurian coast without the crowds. Minors can come if an adult goes with them. The route and stops can change with the sea conditions, and the swim stops only happen if conditions are safe.
