Description
A Cinque Terre day trip from Santa Margherita starts at the town's railway station, where the guide gathers the group before the train heads down the Ligurian coast. The day lasts about eight and a half hours and covers three of the five villages: Monterosso, Vernazza and Manarola.
In every village the guide walks you through the lanes and tells the stories of the area, then leaves you free to wander on your own. Monterosso is the village for a swim in the sea, and the free time leaves room for souvenir shopping and a plate of local food at your own pace.
