Description
A private tour of Portofino from Genoa lets you see two Riviera towns in one relaxed day, with an English-speaking driver who doubles as your guide. You are collected at your hotel and brought back there at the end, over about six hours.
The first stop is Santa Margherita Ligure, with pastel buildings and a palm-lined promenade that is made for a slow walk. Next comes Portofino, where the harbour is ringed by cafés, colourful houses and yachts, an easy place to sit and watch. The finale is Castello Brown, a viewpoint over the harbour and the coast, when it is open.
Along the way the driver shares stories and local tips. The driver cannot enter museums or archaeological areas with you, but briefs you before you go in. The plan is flexible: you decide which sights to enter and which to admire from outside, and the route adapts to your wishes and to what is open that day.
