Description
A Genoa hippie van tour is a different way to see the city: you leave the traffic and the noise behind and ride up to the viewpoints with music playing and a relaxed, free-spirited mood. The whole experience lasts about an hour and a half, and the van is part of the fun as much as the places it stops at.
The first leg takes around 30 minutes and ends at the Spianata Castelletto, where Genoa spreads out below you as a mix of rooftops, sea and light. There is time to take photos and to look at the city from above before the ride goes on.
Another 30 minutes of scenic road, with views changing at every bend, lead to Righi. There the tour ends with a panoramic toast: you hold a glass of wine, Genoa lies below and you have half an hour to sit back and look. The route keeps away from the busiest tourist paths.
