Description
An underwater wine tasting in Genoa is an hour in the historic centre, close to Columbus' House, Porta Soprana and Piazza Sarzano. It takes place in the boutique BioTigullio5Terre, which sells products from the Tigullio, the Cinque Terre and the Genoa area.
The bottle is the Giulio F56, a sparkling Vermentino that won the Best Italian Classic Method 2024 title. It ages more than 50 metres down in the Portofino Marine Protected Area, where currents, steady pressure and darkness give it aromas of rosemary, bay leaf, cedar, bergamot and pink grapefruit, plus a fine, lasting sparkle.

The experience is private and designed for two people. It lasts about an hour, and the minimum age is 18. Pickup from the hotel and extra food or drinks are not included. It is not suitable for pregnant women.
