Description
The Impossible Museum in Genoa, which used to be known as the Museum of Illusions, is a place where you stop trusting your eyes. Walk through rooms built to bend perspective, confuse your sense of size and make familiar things look wrong, then try to work out how it was done.
The collection mixes art, architecture, psychology, physics and optics in more than 70 illusions, with 3D interactive art and a Selfie & Dreams experience added by the renovation. You step into the installations, play with them and put your senses to the test. It is as much a learning exercise as a game, since each illusion shows a little of how the brain reads what it sees.

The entrance ticket is the only thing included, and Virtual Reality is not part of it. The museum is in the Magazzini del Cotone area. It suits families, groups of friends and anyone who likes to come away with a few photos that defy reality.
