Description
This Camogli San Fruttuoso Portofino boat tour spends a whole day on the Ligurian coast. The motorboat Città di Camogli leaves Genoa's Porto Antico in the morning, and you can book all three stops or only the ones you like best.
The first landing is Camogli, a colourful village with a busy harbour. On the next stretch the coast puts on a show: the pudding-stone rock of Punta Chiappa, the Hermit's Grotto, the Cala dell'Oro and the Abbey of San Fruttuoso, tucked into the Portofino promontory.
- Camogli, with its harbour
- San Fruttuoso and its abbey
- Portofino, with its villas, deep blue sea and green cliffs
On the way back to Genoa, watch the water for bottlenose dolphins.
Good to know: the boat calls at Genova Nervi after leaving the old port, but only to pick up local passengers, so you stay on board there. The trip runs only when weather and sea are good, and it is not suited to people with mobility impairments.
