Description
On this private Cinque Terre tour from Genoa you spend a full day on the Ligurian coast with an English-speaking driver-guide, who picks you up at your hotel and drops you back there at the end.
The first stop is Monterosso al Mare, the biggest of the five villages, with its sandy beaches and easy-going feel. Next comes Vernazza, often called one of the prettiest villages in Italy, with a small harbour and bright houses. The last village is Manarola, perched on the rocks above the sea, where the coloured houses make one of the most photographed views of the area. Between villages the car pauses at chosen viewpoints over the coastline.
The itinerary is flexible: stroll the lanes, take photos or sit and watch the sea, and decide which sights are worth going into. The driver shares history and local tips at each stop but cannot enter museums or archaeological areas, and entrance tickets are not included. If a stop is shut for a holiday, works or an event, the driver proposes another.
