Description
A Ligurian cooking class in Bogliasco starts at the train station, from where the host leads a scenic walk to a typical Ligurian house. The lesson takes place on its private terrace, which looks straight onto the sea.
Aprons and utensils are provided and the ingredients are fresh, local ones. You prepare traditional dishes such as pesto pounded in a mortar, walnut sauce and pasta in typical Ligurian shapes, learning the stories behind them as you go. Afterwards everyone sits down to taste what was cooked, with a glass of local wine alongside, then water and coffee. If the weather turns bad, the class moves indoors to a spacious room whose windows face the sea as well.
- Hands-on class with the host, for a maximum of 6 people
- Tasting of every dish prepared during the class
- Local wine with the food, coffee at the end
- Recipes by email if you ask for them
The experience is not suitable for people with limited mobility, wheelchair users, or people with food, nut or animal allergies. Transport to Bogliasco is not included.
